The Sean O'Mahony's AGM was held on Tuesday evening in our Clubhouse on the Point Road. A good sized gathering was addressed Secretary Peter Sage and then Chairman Pat O'Brien who thanked all the Club volunteers for all their hard work during the last two years of covid uncertainty. Treasurer Kevin Quinn outlined the Club's 2021 financial details, which reported and healthy balance in the black despite covid restrictions hampering fundraising last season.
Former Chairman Eamon Doyle was nominated to a new club position, Club Development Officer. Club stalwart David Dowling was given the role of Vice Treasurer while Colm O'Hanrahan was formally ratified as Child Protection Officer.
The senior Manager Liam Dullaghan with his Management team of John O'Brien and Anto Mackin stay in place for 2022 and have been joined by another former player Cathal Douglas. Anto Mackin and Barry O'Brien stepped aside as Junior managment after a successful year in which they won their league, with our winning Captain stepping up and taking the reigns of the second team for the coming year.
Best of luck to all our players and volunteers for 2022.
